JSC "Shipbuilding Plant
"Kama" has got industrial capacities in three branches: shipbuilding,
machine-building and furniture production.
1.Shipbuilding: we have opportunities for production of inland waterway ships and
combined (river-sea going) ships and also sea ships and floating facilities. Maximum
dimensions of the ships: length up to 140 m., breadth up to 16.5 m., draught by
launching up to 3000 t. We have got a workshop of ships from light alloys, it
allows to produce ships up to 15 m. In length with the launching weight up to
20 t.
2. Machine-building: It is possible to produce ship's framework, ship thimbles, shackles,
turnbuckles and other details of ship's framework, ship equipment. Forginges
and hot stamps are produced by our plant. We have got a department of hot zinc
plating. It is possible to zincify details up to 5-6 m. In length.
Our foundry produces steel, iron, non-ferrous (bronze,
brass) castings. We use different types of casting.
Our plant produces nets for protection against dropping
of stones in mountainous regions.
3. Furniture production includes timber mill, departments for varnishing, assembly and packing.
We produce upholstered furniture, sectional furniture. The furniture is also
produced by customer's designs.
